Preparing For Small Business Saturday

Small Business Administration (SBA) Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Jim Spencer kicked off the holiday shopping season in Severna Park with a visit on November 25 to The Blended Essentials. He met with owner Danielle Bowen to learn about her business, current operations and upcoming holiday activities. Spencer was joined by Edward Knox, acting district director of the SBA Baltimore District Office; Austen Colledge, acting district director of the Delaware District Office; and Liz League, CEO of the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce.

“Not just on Small Business Saturday but all through the holiday shopping season, I encourage everyone to look local first,” Spencer said. “Look around your community first and #shopsmall for your entertaining and gifting needs.”
