McFeely Window Fashions Celebrates 10 Years

If you ask any of Beth McFeely’s clients about their experience with McFeely Window Fashions, they will tell you how much they love their window treatments, and then they will praise Beth’s ability to produce a quality product while staying within their budget.

Since 2000, Beth has been designing and fabricating custom window treatments for both residential and commercial use. McFeely Window Fashions started as a vision that combined Beth’s passion for sewing and eye for design with her desire to run a business from her home while her three children were young. Ten years later, she still maintains her custom-designed work space in her home, explaining, “This allows me to keep my overhead costs minimal and, therefore, I can price my products lower than competitors.”

Beth is a graduate of the nationally renowned Custom Home Furnishing School in North Carolina, and is an active member of the Window Covering Association of America. To keep abreast of techniques and trends, she continually educates herself through conferences, trade shows and webinars. She was recently selected to help make custom window treatments for the ABC TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. She is also a member of the Severna Park Chamber of Commerce, and a participant in the Long and Foster Home Service Connection program.

Having originally started out doing window treatments for family and friends, her company has expanded to carry plantation shutters and its own very affordable line of blinds and shades. McFeely Window Fashions also fabricates cushions, pillows and all home accessories, and also provides re-upholstery and slipcover services. Beth prides herself in personal attention to detail. Even though the company has expanded to include skilled workroom fabricators and a team of installers, she oversees all aspects of every project to ensure all window treatments are constructed to the highest of standards.
