Jing Ying Institute Of Kung Fu & Tai Chi Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Open House

For 25 years, Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi has been offering kung fu and tai chi classes, workshops, international symposiums, and free events for the community. On Saturday, November 15, Jing Ying will celebrate with an open house that will incorporate a ribbon cutting, Chinese lion dance, as well as kung fu and tai chi demonstrations. The event will include giveaways, door prizes, and refreshments.

Improving lives and building community are at the heart of Jing Ying. In addition to helping thousands of students improve their lives through kung fu and tai chi, Jing Ying has fostered a great group of students who support its commitment to giving back to the community. Working together, they have raised over $170,000 for nonprofits, schools and other local organizations. Thousands of pounds of food, clothing, school supplies, and toys have been donated.

Here is the schedule for November 15:

Mini-Classes

10:00am-10:30am – tai chi

10:30am-11:00am – tai chi

11:00am-11:30am – kung fu drills (all ages/all levels)

11:30am-noon – kung fu drills (all ages/all levels)

Ribbon Cutting And Refreshments

12:30pm - Enjoy refreshments, mingle, and receive a packet of delicious tea. Enter the door prize and raffle drawings.

1:00pm - Ribbon cutting and presentation of citations from local officials, including a special recognition. Jing Ying students will share in this special presentation, ribbon cutting, and celebration.
