Eagle Title has welcomed Brett Menzel as a settlement officer in its Severna Park office. With more than five years of experience in the title industry and a proven record of handling hundreds of closings — from purchases to refinances — Menzel brings both expertise and a client-first mindset to the Eagle Title team.
As a settlement officer, he plays an essential role in conducting settlements, supporting agents, and ensuring every client experience is as smooth and stress-free as possible. Known for his attention to detail, clear communication, and ability to “read the room,” he keeps each transaction efficient while recognizing when clients need extra clarity or reassurance. His goal is simple: to deliver settlements that inspire confidence and peace of mind.
Before joining Eagle Title, Menzel served as a settlement officer in Baltimore, where he guided buyers, sellers, agents and lenders through seamless real estate transactions. Earlier in his career, he worked as an account executive for a local company where he developed strong skills in client service, relationship management, and problem-solving.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, Menzel earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and was a member of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. He is also a proud Calvert Hall alumnus, carrying forward a foundation of leadership, collaboration and community that continues to guide his professional approach.
“I am thrilled to welcome Brett to our Severna Park branch sales team,” said Cheryl Odell-Duffy, Severna Park branch manager. “He brings incredible energy and more than five years of title industry experience, with proven strengths in sales and customer service.”
