When supplements are taken orally, you lose up to 80% of the vitamin’s nutritional value as it moves through your digestive tract. For nutrients to reach the cell and work effectively, they must be absorbed and not digested. Prime IV’s proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and IV fluids are infused directly into the bloodstream, giving your cells rapid access to the nutrients required to look, feel and perform at your best. The supplements are approved for use with health savings accounts (HSA) and flex savings accounts (FSA).

The highlight of July is always our annual Independence Day parade, and this was a special year as we celebrated the 50th anniversary of this wonderful event that started in 1975 with just a few decorated vehicles, and American Legion Post 175 and the Severna Park High School marching band.
Over the decades, the parade is still going strong as a community tradition with multiple generations lining the roads to enjoy the festivities, even staking out their spots a day in advance.
We had everything! First responders, firetrucks, antique cars, floats, martial arts demos, business vehicles decorated patriotically, horses, miniature animals, scouts, veterans, and even the original participants: American Legion Post 175 and the Severna Park marching band!
Our wonderful grand marshal was Scott Jay, lifelong resident and Severna Park historian. He was the perfect choice since we were celebrating such a milestone anniversary.
While the parade entrants were lining up to enter the route, we held a decorated bike contest at the chamber with close to 40 children. They all did a great job decorating bikes, trikes, scooters and wagons. They then entered the parade route to show off their creations.
Our Community Champion sponsors were Chick-fil-A of Severna Park and Kogen Dojo. They each enjoyed a private tent with breakfast and a direct view of the parade.
Many thanks to the Severna Park Voice for organizing the judges. Thank you, Earl Schaffer, for serving as our emcee again. We appreciate Cassilly & Appel and the Elmore Law Group for allowing us to use their space to set up the sound system and judges’ table.
We have so many others to thank for making the event a great success. This includes our many sponsors, volunteers, participants, our local reserve officers, the Maryland Mobileers and, of course, our great community that supports us.
