Partners In Care Holds Veterans Luncheon At Woods Church

Veterans, family members, and friends gathered at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church November 11 for a Veterans Day Luncheon presented by Partners In Care Maryland. 

Officers from the Maryland State Police presented the colors, and Caitlin Connolly perfectly sang the National Anthem to open the event. Yanny Silva Rosario, of Partners In Care welcomed guests, and Chaplain Bart Physioc, a retired U.S. Army colonel, presented a prayer and invited everyone to partake in a meal provided by Mission BBQ. Following lunch, guest speaker Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott Stalker, the command senior enlisted leader of the U.S. Cyber Command and the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland, thanked the veterans and family members for their service and  shared several stories about service and sacrifice. Veterans were also presented with gifts from Naval Academy Primary School students and Girl Scout Troop #1102.
