The Library of Congress Veterans History Project collects and preserves firsthand accounts from U.S. military veterans, ensuring their stories and experiences are accessible to future generations. Veterans from all military branches and ranks who have served since World War I are eligible to participate, regardless of whether they experienced combat.
As part of the initiative, the office of Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth will conduct 30-minute interviews with interested veterans in Elfreth’s district Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., through November 20. Interested veterans must register by November 13. Before each interview, a staff member will contact participants to review necessary forms, gather background information, and arrange a convenient interview location.
Eligible veterans interested in sharing their stories are encouraged to sign up and help preserve an important part of American history. Visit https://tinyurl.com/5h9s4nn2 to register.
