Spring Local Fun Festival Highlights Community Businesses, Philanthropy

On May 2, crowds gathered at the Park Plaza Shopping Center for the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce’s annual Spring Local Fun Festival. A celebration of shopping locally, the event featured a health and wellness expo, food, music, entertainment, and of course, a showcase of local businesses and organizations.

Several event sponsors presented $500 donations to local nonprofits as well. Landmark Roofing supported NAMI; Checkmark Power Washing supported the Katherine’s Light Foundation; Kitchen Tune-Up and Prime IV Hydration & Wellness both supported the Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company; Lean on Dee Senior Home Care supported the Alzheimer’s Association; SERVPRO of Annapolis/Severna Park supported the Caring Cupboard; and the Severna Park Elks supported SPAN.
