SPCC’s Gin & Jazz Annual Gala Honored Landmark Roofing’s Artie Hendricks

On April 25, community members stepped back a century into the Roaring Twenties, dressed in their 1920s best for the Severna Park Community Center’s (SPCC) Gin & Jazz Gala held at Chartwell Golf & Country Club.

This year’s honoree was Artie Hendricks, owner and president of operations at Landmark Roofing, who was recognized for his generosity, leadership and service to the community. Through his business, Hendricks has led numerous philanthropic efforts throughout Anne Arundel County. A former chair of the SPCC board of directors, he is a longtime supporter of the center’s mission.

Gala attendees enjoyed an evening of craft cocktails, silent and live auctions, a surf-and-turf dinner, live music and dancing. Gin & Jazz is a fundraising event that directly supports the SPCC, with The Cottage as this year’s presenting sponsor.
