On May 18, the Severna Park Green Hornets 2032 boys followed up their third-place finish in the GHCLC 2032 Elite division by winning the Anne Arundel County 2025 lacrosse boys spring Middie (fifth/sixth-grade) A championship at Severna Park High School. Coaches Brad Reppert, Derek Howells, Kim Bloomfield and Eric Wedemeyer led the youngest team in the league to an undefeated season (9-0) and the No. 1 seed in the playoffs. In the quarterfinal match-up, the Repsnakes dispatched the No. 4 seed SCYA 14-1 before beating the No. 3 seed GSPAA team 14-8 in the final to claim the trophy.
This season, the 2032 boys’ defense was anchored by Aiden Cooke, Henry Smith and Joey Blanchet in front of netminder Sammy Coleman. The all-around play of midfielders Caden Howells, Nathan Feldman and River Baker complimented the attack of Bryce Arnold, Liam Cooke, Braxton Reppert and Ryan Berger. Long stick midfielders Carter Wasserman and Hunter Slater rounded out the strong skill of Mark Wedemeyer, Connor Wild, Lawton Bloomfield, Grame McDowell and George Fewster as newcomers Patrick Turner, Brantley Masters and Logan Blair contributed to another successful season.
