Providence of Maryland, a nonprofit organization with a mission to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to discover and live their best lives, will hold its 10th annual Harvest Bash, presented by Wealthspire Advisors, on October 12 at 7:00pm. The fundraiser will take place at Providence Greenhouses and Gardens, located at 370 Shore Acres Road in Arnold.
"The bash has been an incredible success for us over the past decade, and we are so appreciative of each attendee, sponsor, auction donor, and partner that has participated through the years and helped to make an impact on the lives of so many," said Providence of Maryland President and Chief Executive Officer Karen P. Adams-Gilchrist.
"We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting milestone with you next month!" Adams-Gilchrist added.
The Harvest Bash is a major fundraiser for Providence of Maryland and helps the nonprofit provide vital support for more than 300 men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Proceeds will fund critical supports and services that are uniquely designed for each person to promote community engagement, competitive employment, and self-advocacy.
This year's Harvest Bash will feature live music from Wet Cowboy and Scott Voorhees, dancing, an autumn-inspired menu and open bar, plus live and silent auctions, a raffle, s'mores bar, fireside lounge, fresh custom donuts, and more 10th anniversary surprises.
Tickets are still available. Each ticket includes admission, food and beverages, entertainment, and access to auctions, raffles, shopping, and much more. Reserved seating is only available with an event sponsorship. Open seating is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis.
"As always, dress for the bash is fall casual," Adams-Gilchrist said. "So pick out your favorite jeans, boots, flannels and sweaters and get ready for an unforgettable night under thousands of twinkling lights and a canopy of stars in our enchanting Greenhouse & Gardens.
"We truly need your help to make this year’s bash the best yet," she added. "Please show your support by becoming a sponsor, donating to our silent auction, and attending the event! Your participation – along with great food, drinks, music, and much more – will help create an evening to remember for all!"
