Greater Annapolis Ballet (GAB), a local nonprofit dance school and youth ballet company, invites the community to experience the enchantment of “The Firebird” on Saturday, April 11, at the Chesapeake Arts Center. Performances will take place at noon and 4:00pm.

Set to Igor Stravinsky’s iconic score and inspired by Russian folklore, “The Firebird” tells the story of a mystical creature whose power brings both blessing and challenge. This visually stunning production features dynamic choreography, custom-designed costumes, and a talented cast of young dancers from GAB’s pre-professional division.

Perfect for families, arts lovers, and first-time audience members alike, “The Firebird” offers an engaging and accessible introduction to classical ballet while showcasing the artistry and dedication of local youth performers.

As a nonprofit organization, Greater Annapolis Ballet is committed to providing high-quality dance education and performance opportunities to students of all ages. Proceeds from this production support the school’s programs, training and community outreach initiatives.
