The Severna Park Voice launched its inaugural Community Resource and Business Directory cover contest for student artists last year, and Severna Park Middle School’s Landon Oliver earned the opportunity to have his work on the cover of the publication.
This year, we are holding a contest exclusively for high school students.
The Community Resource and Business Directory includes information about greater Severna Park and directory listings for local businesses. Inside the magazine, readers will also find stories about the history of our community and all the resources that make Severna Park special. When considering a concept for the cover, we ask that all high school artists keep in mind what this area means to them.
All submissions must be received by the Voice before January 1, 2024. Submissions must be the artist’s original artwork. Do not fold the artwork. Include your name, grade and phone number. Send mail to this address: Severna Park Voice P.O. Box 608, Severna Park, MD 21146. Or drop off your work at Benfield Gallery (485 Jumpers Hole Road in Severna Park) or at the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce (1 Holly Avenue in Severna Park).
Contact our office with any questions by calling 410-647-9400 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The cover artwork contest is sponsored by Benfield Gallery — where the top three artists will have their work displayed during the month of March.
