Art In The Park Live Music And Arts Festival Returns October 5

Save the date for Sunday, October 5, for the fifth annual Art in the Park live music and arts festival. Presented by Cafe Mezzanotte and the Severna Park Voice, this year’s event will again offer attendees a buffet of entertainment in the forms of musical performances, live art demonstrations, an all-you-can-eat gourmet picnic, a wine garden and more.

Enjoy modern jazz with Afro, Cuban, hip-hop, rock and Egyptian melodies performed by Ahmed Warshanna’s ISHTA, with special guest Gracie Jay. Sponsored by Perilla Wellness, the event will also feature live art demonstrations by local artists and galleries including Side Street Framers & gift gallery, Gallery 564, Benfield Gallery, McBride Gallery, Sand & Silo Marketplace and Local By Design.

Guests can sip drinks from an outdoor wine garden offering more than 20 wine, beer and cocktail options, sponsored by Zeskind’s and Park Hardware. The gourmet picnic, sponsored by KMA Law Office, will offer endless samplings of grilled meats, seafood, seasonal produce and more.

LaBarge Financial is this year’s main event sponsor. Proceeds from Art in the Park will benefit local nonprofit Bello Machre, which is committed to providing a lifetime of loving care for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
