Annual Turkey Trot Raises Support For SPAN

Runners and walkers can get a head start on the Thanksgiving season while supporting a local nonprofit during the 14th annual Stride for SPAN Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 7, at Kinder Farm Park. The event features a timed 5K run at 9 a.m., followed by a 1-mile fun walk/run at 9:25 a.m. Participants of all ages are welcome, and both strollers and leashed dogs are permitted. Early-bird registration is available through October 12, and the race is limited to the first 250 participants. Participants who register by October 21 are guaranteed an event shirt. Race-day packet pickup begins at 8 a.m. at Kinder Farm Park, and same-day registration will be available.
