County Seniors Display Artwork In Annapolis

“Oblivisci” is a pen drawing by Broadneck High School’s Oliver Scott, meant to represent the fading away experienced by someone with Alzheimer’s disease. He hopes to raise awareness for the disease with this piece, which is in honor of, and was inspired by, his grandfather.

“Belonging,” an exhibit of more than 60 unique pieces of art created by Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) seniors, is currently on display at Maryland Hall in Annapolis.

The exhibit showcases art using a variety of mediums. Students from Broadneck and Severna Park high schools created 10 of the featured pieces.

“Belonging” is open to the public and can be found in the Earl and Martino galleries on the first floor of Maryland Hall. The exhibit runs through May 15.
