Zimmer Opens Accounting Practice

Long time Pasadena resident and Certified Public Accountant, Barbara Zimmer, has left a long and successful career in private industry to follow a lifelong dream of having her own tax and accounting services firm.

When asked why she chose this time, and in the present economic climate, to strike out on her own, Ms. Zimmer said, “The new IRS regulations coming out in 2011 will weed out the untrained preparers. These new regulations will create a high demand for accredited tax and accounting professionals.”
Barbara, a graduate of University of Maryland College Park, is not only an experienced CPA, but also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Prior to her graduation from college in 1989, she owned and operated her own nursery school. From 1981 to 1995, her preschool was licensed for 60 children and employed as many as 12 people.
