“UM BWMC is proud to once again be recognized by U.S. News & World Report for our high-quality health care services,” said UM BWMC president and CEO Kathy McCollum. “These rankings are a reflection of our dedicated team members who are committed to providing exceptional care to the communities we are privileged to serve.”

UM BWMC was among three University of Maryland Medical System hospitals to be recognized. University of Maryland Medical Center and University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson were also ranked.

“These rankings are representative of the efforts that all of our system hospitals are engaged in to transform health care, with a focus on delivering compassionate, high-quality patient and family centered care,” said Mohan Suntha, president and CEO of UMMS. “Earning such recognition speaks to the relentless commitment of our workforce to the health and well-being of communities we serve here in Maryland and beyond.”

The U.S. News rankings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or for common elective procedures.
