STORY & PHOTOS: Spalding Girls Defeat Severn In County IAAM Clash

Kristin O’Neill scored four goals and Lindsey Beardmore and Lily Grant scored three goals each as the Archbishop Spalding girls lacrosse team defeated Severn 16-5 on April 9. Maggie Jordan and Delaney McDaniel added two goals each for the Cavaliers, who received additional goals from Haley Urgo and McKenna Davis. Beardmore and Caitlin Koehler recorded assists, and O’Neill and Grant both controlled five draws. Paige Gunning made five saves for Spalding.

Bella Lynch (two goals), Bella Ingrao, Cam Levin and Danielle Drury scored for Severn. Ingrao won five draws, and Arielle Hillock had eight saves.

Spalding improved to 7-3 overall, 4-3 in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference. Severn (0-9) is 0-8 in IAAM A Conference play.
