Severna Park Resident To Donate Portion Of Commission To Projects That Honor Heroes

Posted

From November 1, 2011, through November 1, 2012, Christina “Tina” Palmer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage pledges to donate $500 of her commission from every sale or listing of a home sold to The Travis Manion Foundation or The Wounded Warrior Project.

The Travis Manion Foundation aims to assist veterans and families of fallen heroes through grants, programs, scholarships, seminars and memorial runs. The Wounded Warrior Project exists to honor and empower wounded warriors who incurred service-related injuries on or after September 11, 2001.

These two programs have become near and dear to Palmer, especially after the loss of her son-in-law Lt. (Seal) Brendan Looney in Afghanistan in September 2010, as well as Brendan’s friend and Naval Academy roommate Lt. Travis Manion, who lost his life to sniper fire in Iraq in 2007.

Palmer is a 20-year resident of Severna Park. She has been in the real estate industry for nearly 20 years and has been with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Brokerage since 2009.

More information on each of the programs can be found online at www.travismanion.com and www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
