Recap: Severna Park Football Dominates Glen Burnie On Homecoming, 48-6

The Severna Park football team delivered a dominant all-around performance in front of a spirited homecoming crowd on Friday night to defeat Glen Burnie 48-6.

Two touchdowns and a monster all-around rushing night by Wylen Tompkins staked Severna Park to a 14-6 lead over the Gophers by halftime. The Falcons extended their lead in the third quarter with touchdown runs from Demetrius Powell and Craig Johnson. A fourth-quarter touchdown run by Pat Fenn along with a late fumble recovery and touchdown run by Ashton Antinucci and a long touchdown run by Tommy Haskell rounded out an overpowering Severna Park effort.

Kaleb Blackwell blocked two punts and recovered a fumble, and James Henson had an interception to highlight the Falcons’ defensive output.
