Two Anne Arundel County soccer products shined on the college stage this fall.

Mason Jones (Severna Park ’17) and Joey Aman (Broadneck ’17), rivals in high school, are now teammates for the Penn State-Harrisburg men’s soccer team.

On November 10, the Nittany Lions came from behind to defeat Keuka College 3-2 in double overtime in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship game.

Jones scored to tie the game at 2-2, and Aman scored the championship game-winner in overtime.

The NEAC title is the first for the Penn State-Harrisburg men’s soccer program and came in the team’s 15th win of the season, a program record.

Jones and Aman, who played Green Hornets soccer growing up before squaring off in high school for the Falcons and Bruins, respectively, were named Co-Most Valuable Players of the NEAC Tournament.
