Liff, Walsh & Simmons, a full-service business law firm, is pleased to welcome Josh Welborn, esquire, as an associate attorney with the firm.

Prior to joining Liff, Walsh & Simmons, Welborn served as a business advisor to his corporate clients and managed a large portfolio of complex civil litigation cases including a title curative case portfolio, a judicial probate case portfolio, and represented numerous clients in actions involving contract disputes.

“Josh’s skills and experience add depth to our business counseling and litigation practice groups, allowing Liff, Walsh & Simmons to continue to provide exceptional service to our clients,” said Jim Crossan, partner and practice director for the litigation practice group at Liff, Walsh & Simmons. “Josh is an outstanding addition to the firm, and we are excited that he has joined our team.”

Welborn graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a degree in biochemistry and subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law.

“Joining the growing Liff, Walsh & Simmons team and working under the leadership of the well-regarded attorneys, including Jim Crossan and Melissa Menkel McGuire, has created an opportunity to enhance my business counseling, litigation and employment law skills,” Welborn said. “The team-oriented environment is grounded in core values and has been an excellent match for my personal and professional goals.”

Welborn is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Anne Arundel Bar Association and the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce.
