Historic Annapolis presents the 2020 Winter Lecture Series, featuring a variety of topics over an 8-part series. The lectures will be held at O’Brien’s Oyster Bar and Seafood Tavern on Main Street. An all-inclusive meal option is offered with several lectures to help you enjoy a truly enlightening experience.

January 15 Lecture: A Brief Outline of Annapolis History
Annapolis has a long, complicated history, and gaining a firm mental handle on it can be difficult. Senior Historian Glenn E. Campbell breaks down the history of Maryland’s capital city into bite-sized, thematic blocks of time to help you make sense of it all. From the town’s birth in the 17th century to the challenges and opportunities it faces now in the 21st, our speaker highlights what has made Annapolis a special place for hundreds of years.

Cost: $10 General Admission; $5 for HA Members/Volunteers; Free for HA Docents. Add $18 for Pre-Paid Dinner (includes one meal option below, iced tea, coffee or hot tea, tax, and gratuity).
