Goshen Farm's 8th Annual Harvest Pasta Dinner

Posted

Love locally grown and fresh vegetables direct from the Farm? Want an organically-grown and nutritious meal?

Join the Goshen Farm Sharing Gardeners at their Annual Harvest Pasta Dinner on October 12th, Saturday, from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Gloria Dei! Fellowship Hall, 461 College Parkway, Arnold 21012.

Goshen Farm Preservation Society, Inc. with the event sponsor, The Irish Company, encourage families of all ages to prepare for an evening of good food grown, prepared, and served by your neighbors: Homemade tomato sauce prepared from organically-grown vegetables and herbs is the featured main course. Members of the Goshen Farm Sharing Garden donated herbs, tomatoes, vegetables, and their precious time to make this event possible. Homemade meatballs in the traditional Italian style, spaghetti squash for the gluten-intolerant folks, salad, bread, side dishes, home-made desserts, and beverages will also be on the menu. Wine will be available at extra cost.

The Harvest Dinner is open to everyone: The cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child 10 years or younger. Advance ticket purchase is recommended at www.GoshenFarm.org, with tickets available for purchase at the door.

All funds raised benefit the restoration of Historic Goshen Farm, one of the few colonial-era farmsteads in Anne Arundel County. Goshen Farm is located on the Broadneck Peninsula near the entrance to the Cape St. Claire community.
