Dr. Miller Wants To See Beautiful Smiles

Located in what used to be a private residence back in the ‘50s, Dr. W. Kendall Miller’s orthodontic practice strives to make patients feel at home. Dr. Miller has lived in the Annapolis area off and on since early childhood. His father was a career Navy pilot, U.S. Naval Academy class of 1945, and Dr. Miller had a successful Naval career as well, both as a general dentist and as an orthodontist. He completed college and dental school at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and after several years as a general dentist, he received his orthodontic training at the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Miller and his family have been residents of Millersville since 1995, when he was assigned to the dental clinic at the U.S. Naval Academy. Upon retirement from the Navy in 1998, Dr. Miller bought his orthodontic practice in Severna Park. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Anne Arundel County Dental Society, the Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. He continually attends courses to stay abreast of the newest orthodontic breakthroughs and advancements. His office is state of the art, and has adapted digital radiology and photography, as well as advanced treatment planning.

He and his team are passionate about excellence in orthodontic treatment, on-time appointments, and patient comfort. His staff completes ongoing courses, such as infection control, radiology refreshers, and all courses relating to the advancement of orthodontics.

Dr. Miller is very active in the community. He sponsors sports teams, gives to academic and other worthy fundraisers, participates in the Polar Bear Plunge for the Special Olympics of Maryland, hosts Halloween candy buy-backs, and offers a yearly Heathcare scholarship, which was featured in the August issue of the Voice.
