Bohlman Inducted Into York College Athletic Hall Of Fame

Tim Bohlman was part of a trio that constituted the 28th class of the York College Athletic Hall of Fame. Bohlman grew up in Sillery Bay and attended elementary in middle schools in Pasadena before continuing his education at Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore and then York College in Pennsylvania, where he was a two-time wrestling All-American and three-time national qualifier for the Spartans during his four-year career spanning 2003 to 2007. The 2008 York College graduate accumulated 88 career wins, good for ninth place on the all-time list at the time of his induction. He won 35 matches in 2006-2007, which ranks him fifth on the single season list.

Bohlman was the Metropolitan Wrestling Conference 133-pound champion in 2005 and a key part of the 2005-2006 Spartan squad that won the Metropolitan Conference championship and earned a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division III championships in Ewing, New Jersey. Bohlman was a national qualifier in 2005 at 133 pounds, in 2006 as a 141-pounder and in 2007 as a 149-pound wrestler. He was an All-American in 2006 and again in 2007. The Spartans registered 68 dual match wins during Bohlman’s career, including 21 in 2005-2006.

Bohlman now coaches for Central Maryland Wrestling. He resides in Arnold with his wife, Rachel, and three children.
