Severna Park’s Liam Mahoney shot a nine-hole 37 at Crofton Country Club on September 11 to lead the Falcons to a team score of 160 and a victory in Anne Arundel County A Division play. Mahoney’s score tied for first with Arundel’s Champ Wert as Severna Park topped South River (165), Arundel (166) and Broadneck (188) on the day. The Falcons’ Pete Regala and Tucker McDonough both shot 40 to tie for third overall, and Connor McCoy added a round of 43 to Severna Park’s winning team score.

Arundel’s Angelina Hwang was the top female performer in the co-ed match, shooting 40 to tie for third. Luke Farnie shot 45 to lead Broadneck.

The victory comes a day after Severna Park was edged out by South River in an A Division match at Renditions. D.A. South River won the match with a 164, getting sub-40 rounds by Horace Pennix (38) and Joey Fidyk (39) as well as solid rounds from Tyler McDonald (43) and Aiden Dillahay (44). Broadneck’s Colin Bright shot a 39 to lead the Bruins and tie for third overall. Broadneck and Arundel tied for third with team scores of 170.
