Severna Park Announces Hiring of Kevin Rutledge As New AD

Rutledge replaces Dave Lanham, who is moving out of state after serving as Severna Park’s Athletic Director for five years.

Rutledge has been the AD at Meade High School for the past five years, and he replaced Lanham as Meade’s AD when Lanham made the switch to Severna Park in 2014. Prior to his position at Meade, Rutledge was Assistant Athletic Director at Northeast High School for five years, where he also was head coach of boys lacrosse and assistant coach for boys varsity basketball.

Rutledge earned his Bachelor of Science in physical education and health from Towson University and his Master’s degree in educational leadership from American College.
