The Chesapeake Life Center – run through Hospice of the Chesapeake – is hosting a reflective and healing Mother’s Day Tea on Thursday. This is open to women and girls ages 12 years or older who are grieving the loss of a mother or grandmother. Tickets are $15. Chesapeake Life Center. 6:00pm-7:30pm. 888-501-7077.
Stop by the Severna Park Farmer’s Market on Saturday for different ideas to celebrate the mom(s) in your life. There will be giveaways of heirloom tomatoes and flowering plants while supplies last. There will also be handmade mugs for sale, which were made special Mother’s Day. Severna Park Farmer’s Market. 8:00am-12:00pm.
Show Mom your bottomless appreciation for her this Mother’s Day at Café Mezzanotte with their special brunch menu, featuring bottomless cocktails. The menu includes an assortment of traditional breakfast items, salads, pasta, meats and seafood. Stay for dessert and enjoy profiteroles, lemon tort, cannoli or ciabattino. Brian Boru Irish Restaurant and Pub
This annual Mother’s Day Brunch boasts an all-you-can-eat buffet with more than 28 options to choose from, including an omelet station, waffle station and carving station. Some of the menu highlights are eggs benedict, corned beef hash and bacon, and pancakes and Gaelic toast. The brunch buffet costs $24.99 per person and $11.99 for children 10 and under. Whether you want to treat Mom to lunch or dinner, Founders Tavern & Grille has special menus for both meals. Brunch runs 11:30am-2:30pm, and it features bread pudding French toast, creamed chipped beef, Maryland eggs benedict, and southern sausage gravy and polenta. Spend Mother’s Day out on the beautiful historic grounds of Hancock’s Resolution. The menu features tea, lavender cookies and gingerbread. Dawn Schneider will be in attendance to interpret historic women’s clothing. Historic Hancock’s Resolution. 1:00pm-4:00pm. 410-255-4048.
