Green Tops Gold In Rookie 8 All-Star Game

The Green Hornets’ cream-of-the-crop Rookie-8 baseball players were honored with season-ending selections to the All-Star team this spring, splitting into two squads for a Green vs. Gold showcase showdown.

The Green team defeated the Gold team 15-8 in a fun and competitive matchup on June 9 at Cypress Creek Park.

The Green All-Stars were Trent Bray, Owen Keefe, Nathaniel Lourie, Connor Cormier, Tyler Smulow, Timmy Brucksch, Parker Carroll, Charlie Delobe, Isaac Hilario and Nathan Peacock. The team was coached by Dan Smulow and Bobby Brucksch.

The Gold All-Stars were Jack Peery, Seth Henson, Roman Cleven, Max Umana, Joshua Shue, Ella Kassel, Jack Marshall, Jake Tarsi, Paul Puckett and Chris Jenkins. The team was coached by Bill Shue, Daniel Kassel and Adam Tarsi.
