Green Hornet 10U’s Dominate In Season Opener

The 10U A Division Green Hornets football team got its title defense underway in emphatic fashion, excelling in every facet of the game en route to a 28-0 defeat of Upper Queen Anne’s at Kinder Park on September 1.

Touchdowns by Jack Fowler, Sean Johnson, Kayden Tasker and Ryan “Rocket” Inzer and a defensive safety powered the Green Hornets to a resounding victory on their home turf.

“We played unbelievable on all three sides of the ball,” said head coach Kevin Howell. “Special teams had a good turnover. Defense definitely played well with a shutout today, came to play, and the offense was just doing their thing. It was great, and they were able to march up and down the field at will.”

Tasker was given weeklong ownership of the team’s heavyweight boxing-style belt as the game’s most valuable player.
