As Easter draws near, kids and the young-at-heart will be on the lookout for the Easter Bunny. Families will find him popping up at Easter egg hunts, in malls and at parks, churches and community events.

Though his calendar is full, this is just a sampling of the many events the Easter Bunny plans to attend. How he can be in so many places at once is beyond us, but we’re guessing it has something to do with magic.

He’ll stop at Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company (161 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park) on April 7 for lunch. Bring your camera and join the fun. For more details, visit www.ehvfc.org.

The Easter Bunny will mingle with guests at Kinder Farm Park (1001 Kinder Farm Park Road in Millersville) during the annual Friends of Kinder Park-sponsored Easter egg hunt from 10:00am to noon on April 8 at the Black Oak Pavilion. The cost is $5 per participant. To register, visit www.kinderfarmpark.org.

Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company invites the community to enjoy lunch with the Easter Bunny at the fire hall, located at 4408 Mountain Road in Pasadena, from 11:00am to 2:00pm on April 13. The free event includes crafts, games, fire engine tours and fire safety demonstrations. For more information, visit www.lsvfc.org.

On April 14, the “wascally” rabbit is going to need extra energy. He’ll be at Glory Days Grill (7939 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie) for a brunch with the Easter Bunny from 8:00am to 11:00am. Each child will receive a gift.

Later in the day, from noon to 3:00pm on April 14, there will be bunny sightings at Homestead Gardens (522 Richie Highway in Severna Park) in the greenhouse among the flowers. If you missed photos at brunch, this is a great opportunity. While you’re at Homestead, you can also check out all the new spring merchandise. For more information about the Easter Bunny at Homestead Gardens in Severna Park and in Davidsonville, go to www.homesteadgardens.com.

The Severna Park Community Center (SPCC), located at 623 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, is putting a different spin on an Easter egg hunt and visit with the Easter Bunny — it’s adding a swim. The Easter Bunny will stop by the SPCC’s Easter Splash from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on April 19. Kids can enjoy a swim in the therapy pool and then hunt for eggs. Tickets are $8. For more information and to register, visit www.spcommunitycenter.org.

Compass Pointe Golf Course (9010 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena) will host its annual breakfast with the bunny starting at 9:30am on April 14. The cost is $14 for adults, $8 for kids ages 4 to 12, and free for those 3 and under. Enjoy traditional breakfast foods followed by an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the bunny himself. Visit www.compasspointegolf.com for details.

Don’t forget, you can also drop in to see Peter Rabbit from 10:00am to 6:00pm through April 19 at Marley Station Mall (7900 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie). Kids of all ages can visit with the bunny and purchase photos.

Please note that details may change at each location and based on the weather. Those planning to attend should visit the website to confirm details.
