ASA Rampage Make Tournament Final, Excel In NCSL

The ASA Rampage ’05 boys soccer team had a strong showing at the Beach FC Virginia Beach Columbus Day Tournament, making an appearance in the tournament final.

The Rampage’s tournament run included a dramatic semifinal victory, in which ASA won on penalties 1-1 (5-4).

The U13 ASA Rampage are composed of Aaron Fox, Aaryn James, Avery Hill, Ben Williams, Brayden Roventini, Cameron Wade, Cody Smith, Cole Stephen, Dansu Chhetri, Hunter Walls, John Mutziger, Jackson Hamilton, Matthew Franco, Miquel Carneiro and Nicholas Crockett. The team plays in the National Capital Soccer League and is currently 5-3 in league play with a 23-5 goals for/against ratio. The Rampage are led by head coach Nicole Roventini and assistant coach Alex Franco. The team manager is Lisa Smith.

“ASA Rampage’s cohesion, sportsmanship and hard work, along with their amazing coaching staff, have enabled these boys to continue move up in the state, regional and national rankings at a steady pace,” said Smith.
