It was just another ordinary day in the Severna Park shopping center where the Voice offices are located. Only, this particular morning, December 15, a man had converted the back of his Denali into a makeshift gift-wrapping station!

Chet Langemak had a large roll of gift wrap, tape, bags of gifts, and a large coffee from Big Bean, as he cheerfully spent the morning wrapping away. Chet was not wrapping gifts for his family, though. After hearing his kids tell him St. John the Evangelist School was doing a collection for the homeless, Chet promptly went out and bought goods to donate.

"My kids told me their school was collecting things for the homeless and the less fortunate around us, and that this year the need was great," said Chet. "They need things like towels, washcloths, and clothing," he added.

The donated items will go to Happy Helpers for the Homeless with notes of encouragement and prayer. For more information, call the school at 410-647-2283.

You're a good guy, Chet Langemak!
