Each month the Severna Park Elks select a student from Severna Park Middle School as their student of the month. Each student is presented with an award and a certificate in recognition of their accomplishments.

For the month of January, the Oak Hill Elementary School student is Kiley Cassidy, a second grader and daughter of Michael and Stacey. The Severna Park Middle School student is Emma-Rae Pyle, a seventh grader and daughter of Steve and Holly.
