Each month, the Severna Park Voice poses a question to local students. This month, Mr. Whisman’s fifth-grade class at Folger McKinsey Elementary answered the question: “If you were to recommend a book to a friend, which book would you recommend that they read?”

“11 Birthdays” by Wendy Mass. I would recommend this to everyone who enjoys reading about the power of friendship.

“The Soulkeepers,” because it is action-packed, with a battle between good and evil.

The Harry Potter series because they are full of mystery, adventure, magic and humor.
