Athletic Performance Inc. (API) recently announced the opening of its 75,000 square foot indoor sports facility in Gambrills, Md. API took over the space formerly occupied by the Severn Valley Tennis Club on MD Route 3 South. API is moving and expanding its operations from its current 6,000 square foot location in Millersville, Md.

“With this expansion, we believe we will be home to the best sport leagues, tournaments, clinics, camps and indoor team practice facilities in the state. And of course, we will continue focus on our strength, speed and performance training programs for athletes of all ages and abilities,” said Stephen Vaught, founder and president of API.

API’s new facility includes a 21,000 square foot multi-sport turf field, two multi-sport smooth-surface courts, a three-lane sprint track, six tennis courts and a state-of-the-art fitness and performance training center.
