At their new property, located on Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, Hospice of the Chesapeake held a groundbreaking ceremony which was attended by nearly 100 area business leaders and politicians. The ceremony was to celebrate plans for a newly renovated patient services building.
This new campus is a realization of a dream - a dream in which we will create a loving and caring environment that also allows us to explore new and better ways to serve our patients and families, said Michael McHale, president and CEO of Hospice of the Chesapeake.
(L-R) McHale was joined for the official groundbreaking by Brian Gibbons, Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation chairman of the board; Pamela Beidle, Maryland State Delegate; Reverend Dr. James G. Kirk, Hospice of the Chesapeake, Inc. chairman; and Ed Degrange, Maryland State Senator.
Construction for the project is scheduled to be completed in January 2013.
