Summer may be winding down, but the Food Truck Rallies at the Columbian Center in Severna Park are still going strong.

Every Wednesday, you'll find a variety of food trucks serving up all kinds of deliciousness from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at 335 Ritchie Highway. The weekly Food Truck Rallies are organized by the Columbian Center and Holy Trinity Council 3413 of the Knights of Columbus.

The food truck lineup varies from week to week, but fans can enjoy dinner and snacks from several food trucks at each rally, such as 2 Bold Chefs, Chubby's, Gigi's Snowbarn, Jeno's Cheese Steaks and WOLO. In addition, the Columbian Center sells soft drinks, water, beer and wine and offers games for children. For your dining pleasure, covered outdoor tables or air-conditioned indoor seating is available. The Columbian Center has plenty of parking and indoor restrooms. The Food Truck Rally even has its own Spotify playlist, Deep Fried Tracks.

All profits from beverage sales are used to support local charities, which include Boy Scout Troop 216, a troop for special needs scouts; the Marley Prom, a dance for special needs teens; and Coats for Kids. Last month, in conjunction with the Food Truck Rally, the Knights of Columbus sponsored a canned food drive each week to support local food pantries.

"We only raise money so we can give it away," said Michael Steinberger of Council 3413. Past Grand Knight Jeff Maynard agreed. According to Maynard, the council puts on several special events throughout the year in addition to the Food Truck Rallies, including a car show, a summer crab feast, flag retirement ceremonies and bingo every Tuesday night.

The family-friendly Food Truck Rallies take place at the Columbian Center every Wednesday, rain or shine.
