In and around Severna Park, the fall season is rich with tradition. Whether its the opening night of Falcons football at Severna Park High, the annual Severna Park Heritage Day, or the Kinder Farm Park Fall Festival, the excitement is already brewing for all such autumn activity.
Even though its technically still summer until September 22, there has been much hustle and bustle in our office lately as our staff prepares for the action-packed season. Over in the Sports section, Sports Editor Colin Murphy brings you up to date on all that has happened so far this season with the Falcons, Bruins, Green Hornets and others.
With just under two months to go until the election, Editorial Assistant Peter Crispino has been closely following the local, regional and national political scenes. In his story, he gives the rundown on where Barack Obama and Mitt Romney stand on four of our countrys most controversial issues the economy, taxes, foreign policy and gun control. The most important thing you can do for yourself and your country is do your research before you head to the poll this November.
So, between the fall sports, school events, the autumn festivals and the plethora of holiday happenings, how can anyone ever begin to keep up with it all? Well, theres no need to, because the Voice staff does it for you! True, our publication is monthly, but did you know that on our website and social networking pages we post daily events, activities, information, contests and news?
