The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce is holding "A Taste and Sip of Greater Severna Park" on Thursday, November 18 at Homestead Gardens in Severna Park. The event runs from 6:00-9:00pm and features 18 fine providers of holiday fare and drink, a terrific silent auction and live entertainment. In addition, Zachary’s Jewelers will be open that evening and there will be tasting stations there as well as in the festively decorated space at Homestead Gardens.

From crab soup (both cream of crab and Maryland crab) to lobster ravioli, it promises to be a fantastic tasting event. For those with a sweet, there will be exquisite offerings. From sparkling wine and Beaujolais Nouveau to spiced coffee and hot chocolate, the beverage stations will be equipped to please as well.

This will be a great time to sample what Severna Park’s fine restaurants and caterers have to offer, to pick up some literature and menus, and plan for your own holiday parties and events. For a list of participating businesses, visit
