Special Olympics Maryland of Anne Arundel County is busy planning its upcoming Golf Outing fundraiser, and is looking for players! What a great reason to spend the day on the beautiful links of the Compass Point Golf Course in Pasadena! Following are details about how to register, and at the bottom of the page are contact phone numbers if you desire more information.

7:30 - 8:30 a.m.                     Registration

7:30 a.m.          Range Open

9:00 a.m.           Shotgun Start

2:30 p.m.     Awards Luncheon

7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.            Silent Auction

Tournament Rules and Prizes

Rules:  Foursomes will compete using the scramble format (Captain’s Choice) for score determination.  USGA rules will govern all play except as modified by the local rules committee.

Hole-In-One Contests:  A Toyota will be awarded for the first hole in one on the designated hole.  Additional hole-in-one prizes will be available on other designated holes.  Contest sponsored by Koons Toyota, Annapolis, MD.

Rules of the Course:  No metal spikes allowed.  Pull carts are not permitted.  Proper Dress Required.  No Blue Jeans.  Shorts must be at least Bermuda length.  Men – collared shirts are required.  Women – No tank tops or halter tops.

Directions

Washington DC

From I-495, take exit 25A, I-95 North to Baltimore.  Take exit 43A, MD 100 East toward Glen Burnie.  Follow MD 100 East toward Gibson Island.  Turn left onto Magothy Bridge Road (MD 607 North).  Magothy Bridge Road becomes Hogneck Road.  Follow Hogneck Road .7 miles to end then turn right onto Fort Smallwood Road.  Compass Pointe Golf Course is the second right after the Compass Pointe community.

Baltimore, MD

From I-695 take Arundel Expressway (MD 100 South) toward Severna Park at exit 2.  Take MD 100 East towards Gibson Island.  Turn left onto Magothy Bridge Road.  Magothy Bridge Road becomes Hogneck Road.  Follow Hogneck Road, go .7 miles to end then turn right onto Fort Smallwood Road.  Compass Pointe Golf Course is the second right after the Compass Pointe community.
