The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Holiday Trade Fair on Thursday, November 4, from 4:00-8:00pm at Earleigh Heights Fire Hall. The event, free and open to the public, has become quite a community tradition. Visit our vendors and find out more about the goods and services the local business community has to offer.

The "Taste and Sip of Greater Severna Park" is scheduled for Thursday, November 18 at Homestead Gardens in Severna Park. This exciting fundraiser will benefit community beautification and the Chamber. We currently have 18 providers of holiday fare and drink ready to set up their tasting stations! The event will also feature live entertainment and a silent auction. Doors open at 6:00pm and tickets are available at

On November 23, the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce will engage in a joint after-hours Business Mixer at Bamboo Bernie’s Bar & Grill in Pasadena. We are partnering with the Pasadena Business Association and Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce for this event, which will be held from 5:00-7:00pm. Registration is available online at

On Wednesday, December 1, the Chamber is holding its Successful Women in Business Holiday Luncheon at Café Bretton. The fee is $25 per person and the menu features four delicious choices. Doors open at 11:30am and, in addition to socializing and networking, there will be a program on Classic Holiday Decorating Tips by Lisa Bagbey, in-home consultant/designer for Country Curtains.

Be sure to mark December 3 on your calendar, the night of the GSPCC Holiday Tree Lighting on Holly Avenue. Beginning with bagpiper Michael Binnie at 5:00pm, we will light the community tree, festively decorated with twinkling lights and ornaments made by area Girl Scouts. The Chamber will be open for hospitality following the event.

The Chamber’s General Membership Luncheon will be held on December 9 at Carrabbas Italian Grill. Our guest speaker will be the newly elected Anne Arundel County Councilman from the 5th District.
