Green Hornets Travel Baseball Tryouts

Severna Park Green Hornets Baseball travel team tryouts kick off on Saturday 21-July-17 with the 9U and 10U groups.  Tryout registration for 2018 Fall / 2019 Spring Baseball Season remains open for age groups 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U.  (Tryouts for the 8 Year Old Team are being coordinated and will announced separately)

For the 2018 Fall / 2019 Spring Season, Severna Park Baseball anticipates fielding a minimum of two travel teams (Green and White) at each age group.  All tryouts will be held at Kinder Farm Park in Millersville.

Quick notes about Severna Park Green Hornets Baseball:

  1. Teams compete in league play and tournament play each season.
  2. Teams participate in CBA, MABA and CRAB.
  3. Teams participate in multiple local, in state and out of state tournaments including popular venues such as Ripken (Aberdeen and Myrtle), Sports at the Beach, Hershey and the Baseball Youth Nationals in Myrtle Beach.
  4. Severna Park annually sends two (2) 12U teams to Cooperstown Dreams Park.
  5. Teams follow comprehensive training programs including winter work-outs, private instruction and clinics.
  6. Severna Park Travel Baseball boasts experienced Head Coaches, most with extensive baseball backgrounds which include former D1 collegiate play, former semi-pro play, former professional instructors as well as coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels.
  7. Newly renovated fields with an extensive annual maintenance program.
  8. Severna Park Green Hornets Baseball is the feeder system to Severna Park High School Baseball.  The Severna Park Falcons boast a record of three State Championships and in the past six years, four State playoff appearances including one semi-final appearance and three final appearances.
  9. Severna Park Green Hornets Baseball is a non-profit organization run 100% by volunteers who have a passion for youth sports and baseball.  Travel baseball fees paid go directly to fund your player’s baseball experience and with no funds ever applied to organization profits, field rentals or coach stipends.
