Bruce and Arlene Lee, of Pasadena, Md. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Helene Lee to John Mowry, son of Ken and Cindy Mowry, of Severna Park, Md.

Helene and John met in high school and both graduated from Chesapeake High School in 2006. After high school, Helene went onto The Culinary Institute of America in New York City where she received an associate’s degree in Baking and Pastry and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. John attended American University in Washington, DC, where he received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a minor in Justice.

They plan to marry in March and make their home on the Eastern Shore.
